Each year, OWL students participate in the Fall Fieldwork program to explore community impact on the environment. Seventh graders investigate what makes a community thrive or suffer through multidisciplinary activities in art and science. They visit Osprey Wilds and Belwin Conservancy to study local ecosystems and create scientific drawings of Minnesota species. They research the impact of climate change on these species, culminating in a calendar showcasing their discoveries and artwork. The project highlights their outdoor exploration, artistic skills, and scientific research.
