These are the original drawings behind the 2027 Phenology Calendar. Each seventh grader in the Class of 2031 chose a Minnesota species, illustrated it in Kent Miller’s art class, and researched how climate change is shifting its seasonal timing in Akira Mally’s science class.
The calendar features twelve of these drawings. Here is every student’s species, from the snow bunting to the shovelnose sturgeon. Click any drawing to see it full size.
